Transitions:
Dissolve: used between two shots, used so shot doesn't suddenly change by blending them together.
Fade In And Fade Out: black screen turns in to shot.(fades in ) vice versa
Long take: shot that takes a long time before cutting to the next scene.
short take: short length the of time before cutting tot he next scene.
slow motion:
- edited to move slower.
- makes a faster reaction more visible to the audience
- emphasize a moment
- makes a normal thing have a unusual feeling
- emphases violence
